Location
The Aegean Airlines lounge is located in Hall B where all domestic and inter Schengen flights depart from. Once you pass security, all the lounges are straight down a long corridor before you turn right towards the boarding gates.
How To Access
Access to the Aegean Airlines Lounge is complementary for Aegean Airlines and Star Alliance business class passengers, Star Alliance Gold members, and Aegean Airlines Silver members can redeem one of their annual lounge passes here.
The Lounge
Because nearly all of Aegean Airlines’ flights are either domestic or inter Schengen, this lounge handles the vast majority of Aegean’s business class and elite passengers. As such, the lounge is quite spacious and for the most part never got too crowded through the morning hours.
To one side of the lounge are some couches as well as private working areas.
Most of the lounge consists of traditional lounge seating with small tables in between plush armchairs and power outlets by each seat.
At the far end of the lounge was a dining area, though no one seemed to be sitting there.
Food and Drink
The Aegean Airlines Lounge offers a pretty average food selection for breakfast. On offer were a few hot Greek pastries, bread with dips, cheese, and cold cuts, cut fruit, yogurt, plenty of interesting looking juices, and of course coffee.
Also available was a fairly large alcohol selection with several Greek wines and hard alcohol served on an aircraft food kart which I found cool!
Bottom Line
While not the kind of lounge I would arrive early to the airport to enjoy, the Aegean Airlines lounge is a perfectly decent place to spend some time before your flight. Although there are virtually no special amenities at this lounge, the food is decent, there is plenty of seating, and there should be no issue to find a place to charge your devices.
The next door Lufthansa Business Class Lounge is a slightly nicer option which Star Alliance business class passengers and Star Alliance Gold members have access to as well.
