$95 Annual Fee
The Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card recently fell into my radar with an interesting new signup bonus. I almost exclusively book Hilton hotels, though the deal here was too good to pass up!
Signup Bonus
UPDATE – November 3rd, 2020
A new signup bonus is available with this card, offering 75000 points after spending $3000 in the first 3 months of card membership.
A temporary offer of three free nights after spending $3000 in the first 3 months of card membership is also available through this link!
The free nights can be redeemed at hotels charging up to 50,000 points per night which includes most hotels in the Bonvoy portfolio and many luxury properties worldwide.
I live in Tel Aviv, meaning I can redeem these certificates locally for some excellent properties including The Jaffa Hotel, Ritz Carlton Herzliya, The Renaissance Tel Aviv, and The Sheraton Tel Aviv.

Who is This Card For?
The Bonvoy Boundless card perfect for a semi frequent traveler looking for some additional perks at Marriott hotels. Personally, I think Hilton’s Surpass credit card is much better than this one for the same annual fee, so I’m only planning to keep this card for the first year to use the free nights.
Card Benefits
Marriott Silver Status
The primary cardholder receives Marriott’s lowest tier status as long as you have the card. The perks of Silver status are not all that interesting and don’t include lounge access, upgrades, or complementary breakfast.
15 Elite Night Credits Per Year
For those looking to earn Marriott’s higher tier status (Gold or Platinum), these 15 bonus night credits make hitting these tiers much easier. For those who don’t stay frequently with Marriott, this perk is not so valuable.
Free Anniversary Night
Each year on your cardmember anniversary, you’ll receive one free night at Marriott hotels worth up to 35,000 points per night. I have stayed at some fine hotels for 35,000 points including the St Ermin’s Hotel in London, so there is some value here.

Bonus Spend Categories
The Bonvoy Boundless card offers 6x points at Marriott properties worldwide and 2x points on all other purchases. I would expect better bonus point categories from a mid range hotel card like this, but considering I’m mostly interested in the 5 free nights, this isn’t an issue for me.

Bottom Line
I normally overlook non Hilton branded credit cards, however the signup bonus on this card is too good to pass up on (the original offer of 5 free nights). I have my eyes set on some specific hotels I can’t wait to visit in the coming months!
